social began in 2017 as an experiment sustainable clothing with a message. the idea was simple; to hand paint social and political designs on vintage outerwear.

many of the pieces shown here were custom made. we would love to make one for you too.

the process is simple. together, we decide on a type of garment, the colors you want to include, and the story you want to tell. from there, we design a mockup for you to edit and approve.

the designs can be hand painted, or digitally designed and printed on organic cotton and attached to your jacket with our interchangeable artwork system.
